From July 2010, two university preparation papers are being offered by distance.
The distance delivered Communication Skills (206.001) and Study Skills (187.080) papers are offered to better prepare students intending to study an undergraduate degree by distance at Massey University.
The papers are designed to develop students’ skills for academic study: critical thinking and reading, questioning, listening, note-making, research skills, essay and assignment writing, presentation and time management skills to name a few. The papers can be taken together to cover all skills, or individually depending on the area of need.
A limited number of English language tuition scholarships are available for government or university sponsored international students from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam preparing for a PhD at Massey University.
Students from these countries applying for a PhD at Massey University will be automatically assessed for the 24 week tuition fee scholarship once they are approved in principle for their PhD.
